1. Delivery Area

We deliver island-wide across Sri Lanka. From central Colombo to the most remote coastal villages, you can count on Golden Aquaria to bring your order right to your doorstep.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We use two proven courier options to match your needs:

  • Prompt Xpress (Express Delivery)
    • Timeframe: Next business-day delivery (1 working day)
    • Rate: Flat LKR 450 per shipment + LKR 150 per additional kilogram
    • Best for: Live fish, rare or delicate plants, or any order you need in a hurry.
  • Sri Lanka Speed Post (Standard Delivery)
    • Timeframe: 2–3 business days
    • Rate: Flat LKR 450 per shipment
    • Best for: Bulkier orders or non-urgent items where cost-efficiency is key.

3. Order Processing

To ensure same-day dispatch whenever possible:

  • Cut-off Time: All payments confirmed before 12:00 PM (noon) are packed and handed off to our courier that same afternoon.
  • Payments received after 12:00 PM will be processed the next business day.
  • Every order undergoes a final quality check verifying item condition, labeling, and packaging integrity before it leaves our facility.

4. Estimated Delivery Windows

  • Express (Prompt Xpress): Delivered within 1 business day of dispatch.
  • Standard (Speed Post): Delivered within 2–3 business days of dispatch.

5. Tracking & Customer Support

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via WhatsApp at +94 77 423 5577.

6. Packaging & Handling

  • Live Fish & Aquatic Plants: Shipped in fish-safe insulated boxes, complete with oxygen pouches and moisture-control materials to maintain ideal transit conditions.
  • Fragile Accessories: Wrapped and cushioned to avoid bumps or breakage.
  • No Extra Fees: Gift-wrapping and fragile-item handling are included at no additional charge.

7. Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges. Instead, we back every shipment with our Safe Arrival Guarantee: if your order is damaged or compromised in transit, contact us on WhatsApp within 24 hours of delivery and we’ll resolve it whether that means an expedited replacement or other remedy.
