Rhizome rule: Never bury the rhizome in substrate (it will rot). Instead, tie or glue it to driftwood, rocks, or decorations until roots attach.

Lighting: Low to medium light is enough. Too much light can cause algae on leaves.

CO₂: Not necessary, but it will grow faster with CO₂.

Water conditions:

pH: 6.0 – 7.5

Temperature: 22–28°C

Hardy in different water types.

🐠 In the Aquarium

Great for nano tanks, betta tanks, and shrimp tanks.

Fish usually don’t eat the thick leaves.

Works well in low-tech setups.

✨ Special Tips

Wipe or trim leaves if algae grows on them.

Propagate by cutting the rhizome into sections with at least 3 leaves.

Looks beautiful when attached to hardscape in the foreground or midground.
